Most of us don't even play that much, it's only a few like lyko, weed and myself who have a high rank. I think back when stats counted -80% most of the games counted.

Caddy makes an excellent point tho. Is it the skilled pilots fault that he deviates from some statistical ideal? Should XT be forced to play against whatever number of opposing pilots it takes to give them a 1:1 win ratio? I figure 3 or 4 squads might do it.

I don't think anyone would argue that auto-balance should apply to squad games. Auto-balance only applies to pickup games.

Yes. That's precisely what I think. Some might call it a fair game when all sides have an equal chance of winning. Or is it better that all vets gang up on one side and all the clueless noobs take the other side?

If you really don't want to fly with noobs, then perhaps we should consider to have an "adv only" server where we could play balanced games with a higher average skill. If there aren't enough players to have that, then maybe we could arrange "vet nights"... prescheduled pickup games (like the old Allegiance Veteran's League). But I think that deserves its own thread (and it has indeed been discussed several times before).

I have no problem with the adv only server. None at all.
