MrChaos wrote:QUOTE (MrChaos @ Jul 20 2011, 12:51 PM) Actively recruiting players to your squad only when they aren't in a squad is exactly how to keep having for long soul crushing periods of time where one or two squads dominate things. Other then a few disgruntled types like myself, who is no great shakes even in his own book, there aren't enough players not in a squad to make a lick of difference.

Frankly the whole bit about honor and not recruiting players seems rather Machiavellianof you ;)
You recruit and train, make up strats etc, there's work there, not just getting pilots to get into the roster.

I know who Machiavello was, and let me tell you bluntly yet with all due respect, you are pissing out of your pond here.

If I state honestly I mean it and will abide by it as all my squadmates.

If I state I want ALL SQUADS STRONG is just as simple as that and if I clarify that it is for the good of the game, for what I think would be good for Allegiance, be sure is just that, no second or third meaning behind, no bend surprise, no other goal, no other drive, only love for this game.

While it seems a cheap shot from your vantage point, I don't know you or even remember you before you took a siesta (mine was about 3 years until I came back in errm 06). Hopefully you can see how it can cross someone's mind you are trying to stop the bum pinching of PKs from the other squads who smell blood in the water. Buying time as it were to give your squad some breathing room. Nothing wrong with doing that imho but alrighty you are sincere. I'll take it at face value you are a kindreded spirit to guys like Adept, and that is absolutely cool by me.

Btw linkees in a post aren't just for the one being addressed and can be for the gen pop

No more jokes for you (after that last one)

I liked ELO

Not because of the rating system, but because when newbies asked what ELO was I could say "Electric Light Orchestra"

ELO is Electric Light Orchestra. Elo is a ranking system.

The Battle Of Marston Moor would probably make a good soundtrack for squad games

Cheap shot? vantage point? who the $#@! do you think you are talking to?

And them "stop the bum pinching of PK's" no idea of what are you trying to say, English isn't my main language but I'll take it goes in the same "I know it all" and smartass bin as your two previous expressions... well, I won't follow this exchange further, think whatever you want and enjoy your mental jerking off.

Oh and thanks for thinking that I may be sincere, the first thing you should have respected, $#@!ing @#$%@#.

speaking of squads, it's sad that there's only one with >50% people "active"
