It still would have taken a lot of effort to end it with the massive con pushes and hvy int brawls that make alleg fun, but apparently you felt like pouting because you lost a miner.
Generally i just laugh when i hear about p32 rqing again, but i can't say I blame him this time
It was a good game. Good also because it was 42 minutes and not 2+ hours. The morale of the team was irrevocably crushed when we lost that home miner. Fault me as a commander for not being able to find a way to continue. All we could have done was defend with no hope of victory so why drag it out? We value your time.
P32 made no protest to the resign post. I think he left for a different reason... perhaps he wants to join Xexy? Who knows.

I don't even know where this came from, i rq very rarely and only after a team fails at everything, including resigning. Mostly I play even definitely lost games till the end if the team isn't just flying circles.
I didn't say anything on mumble against resigning because I didn't think it would pass, resigning squadgames isn't usually done after all.
You want to resign a squadgame? eh, if its bad enough sure. It wasn't just THAT bad yet, though yes, we quite likely would have lost after a dragged out game. There was still fun to be had, it wasn't like we had no ships to fly and were only waiting for xexy to end it. I'm fairly sure that if we had started playing properly we could have forced xexy to mine for assault ships + cruisers to actually end the game, which takes a while. But resigning not only a squadgame but a tournament final when there's even the slightest chance of a comeback? Might as well a play a pickup game if that's how zenith now does things.
I planned on switching squads to either elem or end soon (once I decided which one) to help with squad balance anyway, no matter if we won or lost or resigned or failed to show for this game.

Or, apparently if P1 is on the other team XD
I kid, I kid.

Dome and FAO,
I'm making this reply in hopes that something will change for our community. Too long have we seen malcontents push and prod good, honest people to their limit causing them to hang up the game and move onto other things. Too long have we had nuisances ruin games, verbally accost people, and feed their sick, twisted desires at the expense of some of the pillars of this community. We've seen a few of them go, and I think it's time to add another one to exclusive club of perma-ban status.
I am talking, of course, about Phantom032.
I thought myself to be Phantoms's friend you know. We played games outside of Allegiance together. We got to know each other on a first name basis. I thought he was cool. I was so very wrong. Individuals like Phantom do nothing but breed on chaos and feast on the harm they cause to others. I was so stupid and blind to not have seen it from the start.
As some people know, Phantom was kicked out of Zenith for violating the one rule Lord Dome bestowed upon the squad: play like @#(!. Phantom verbally berated and abused multiple members of Zenith, the most prominent of which was when he lashed out at Kumquat for 15 minutes making Kumquat cry. Kumquat did not deserve such treatment, and FAO does not deserve a scourge like Phantom032. In every squad game, Phantom constantly challenged Dome's authority to the point where Dome had to remove him from Zenith's private mumble server.
I understand he has been thinking of joining End Game or Element, so this is my warning to you Alaskan and Thallium. You've bitten off more than you can chew. Phantom032 is the cancer that is killing allegiance. He is on par with Mastametz, guns22, and virus. We must cut this off at the head, before it has a chance to fester and drive out more of our shallow community.
I implore you, Dome. Take action. Don't hesitate.

This won't be the last game Zenith plays v Xexy unless Xexy decides to quit.
Zenith failed at the end of this tournament in multiple ways and many of them deal with me and my own failures.
We are not done. Zenith will not end because of this. We will continue to play the game, learn from our mistakes, and get better. There are many facets of Allegiance and personally it was easy to become complacent, but I did it at the wrong time. We should never have put ourselves in a position to pass a resign on the final tournament game. Emotions can take over sometimes. Lack of caring can take over. It may happen again but I will be damn sure to not be the one pressing Y.
I am Dome and I run this game. Dispute that and I'll ban Vogue.
