If he will do it to Dome,he will do it to a newb who will just leave instead of following "channels". We no longer have a Senate and Dome has been busting his ass to help keep this game afloat.That is part of the reason Metz would start a fight with him because Metz has a God complex and thinks he should run everything HIS way.If Metz ran things, no one else would help because they would feel like no matter how hard they tried,it wouldn't be good enough for "The Master".

You didnt quite get what I said.... Metz has been doing what he did to Dome to pretty much everyone else for a long while. It only took him pissing off Dome with his new powers to get himself banned. That is a wrong message that Alleg enforcement should be sending to the community.


P.S. On a separate note, I suggest we should have a community event to celebrate this milestone in improving allegiance!

Lets unban Metz just to ban him again properly!

Well, up until now, the message we've been sending is "it doesn't matter who you piss off or how toxic you are to the community, there is literally nothing you can do to get banned around here".

So yeah, maybe this isn't the ideal way to go about doing things, but it sure is a hell of an improvement over what we were doing before.

(My personal view) is that I'd rather have inactive enforcement than an incompetent and impulsive one.

So where in game did Metz break the ROC instead of him skirting danger because of his knowledge of it? He didn't do it while I've been in game sadly, did he break it on someone else's watch?

Metz worked in grey for ages. The ROC is black and white.

IIRC there are only 3 "enforcement" members in "their" group?

I support what Dome did. Marcus had this coming. He wastes so much potential, when just a little empathy would make his life and everyone else's so much better.

have active enforcement. I have been here since the beginning and I have seen good people leave, not because of over enforcement but under enforcement.

As far as 'messages to the community' being sent, Here's a message;
Screw around enough, you will get tossed out.

I am pretty sick of this United Nation democratic consensus crap that get nothing done. I am willing to put up with a bit of human frailty for a gain of proper leadership. Frankly what do you all think your going to lose by letting Dome grow into the job? More players?

Oh and just a btw, since the allegiance community uses RT's mumble server, there is a tacit expectation that TOS and ROC will be enforced there
so FU anyone who wants to play jailhouse lawyer and quote 'the law'

Here's a 'law' Don't be a dick to other humans. There, I just saved you the trouble of memorizing the Roc and Tos.
