In Bungie I trust; they've some up with stellar franchises before, so I'm hoping they can repeat the feat. Have to prevent my expectations from getting a bit too high though.
If it wasn't for that fact that I already owned and Xbox and that Halo holds a hypnotoad-like sway over me, I would hope on the PS4 right now. May still consider getting it in the future anyway, considering all this silly stuff regarding MS enforcing no used games and requiring a constant online connection to play games and continuing Xbox Live fees. (Though it appears that these may come to pass in the PS4 too.
I'm sure there will be nothing in it, with regards to the hardware (which is still only mid-range last gen 2012 graphics in PC terms, from what I understand [aka worse than my laptop]) as we'll all be limited by the plateau of 1080p which I have a bad feeling is going to stick around for a depressingly long amount of time. Samsung did announce a 4k television but we're probably two generations of console away before we see any movement on that front.
To be expected ol' shizzy poo, Bungie have left PCs for a long time (and grown considerably under the stewardship of Microsoft) so their current team probably lacks any expertise in that area. Also as much as I hate to admit it, it's probably a waste of time for them and not very cost-effective to port it over to the PC.Shizoku wrote:QUOTE (Shizoku @ Feb 20 2013, 03:33 AM) Lame, looks like it wont be for PC. boooooooo
p.s. All of the above has been me talking out my ass.
