Thats an interesting question.
I would assume Germany would still rule over France the Balkans Bulgaria Hungary and North Africa since I doubt GB would have had the power to push Germany out. But then one must assume that at some point during a stalemate GB would have accepted peace even thought Winston Chruchill said never.
In the east Japan would rule China since we didnt do anything about it until they attacked us
I think there is a movie called "Fatherland" in which it depicts that exact thing. Germany wins the war. Its 1950's and the wrold is just finding out about what hapened inside Germany during the war

And debated hundreds of times (at least 10 times in this forum alone)
The Axis would have controlled most of mainland Europe and Africa. Depending on whether Russia became allies or just a neutral party they might have taken the whole world in the long run. I doubt anything would have been able to stand the Axis if Germany, Russia and Japan fought together.

Stalin and Hitler were always gonna have a war. Whether Germany could have crushed the Soviets if Hitler hadn't been a total nutter is debatable.
Hitler was crazy though, and getting worse. Even if the war had gone better for him, the results wouldn't have lasted forever.

For what its worth, its one thing to initiate an assault on an opposing power you are at conflict with. America imposed an embargo on Japan seeking for it to withdraw its troops from mainland China, promising to remove its embargo if it did so (not even relinquish control over its holding of Manchuko, which was a large portion of China, a colony or puppet of sorts). Japan had two choices: Either run out of the oil reserves it needed to wage constant warfare in South-East Asia, or attack the United States. The second seemed unreasonable to the American's, who knew that it would spell defeat for the Japanese, but they did so anyway.
It was a brutal and cold move that essentially forced our hand. Because of it, we were overzealous.

I just like how Adept put the "America is EVIL" spin on this whole thread even though Ryj only said four words, he didn't say that Japan was evil for the attack or anything. Adept on the other hand had the balls to bring the firebombing of Tokyo (which was simply more effective and also being used in Europe) into the argument just for the sake of it. Really Adept? Come on man, the post was harmless and you turned it into a big deal.

Nobody ever likes the dude with the big stick.
Not until they need the person with the big stick to defend them.
