Monitoring = will alert you when the number of players hits the threshold (default = 14)Spinoza wrote:QUOTE (Spinoza @ May 31 2012, 02:57 PM) When I mouse over it, it says "monitoring off". Bug? Troll feature?
So off means no alert. It will still show the number of players online regardless.
Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.
So how do I turn this ON?Spunkmeyer wrote:QUOTE (Spunkmeyer @ May 31 2012, 11:15 PM) Monitoring = will alert you when the number of players hits the threshold (default = 14)

I clicked the thingie and it appeared to log into ASGS but it didn't launch Alleg and it's still says OFF.
basically what AllAlert does is:
open asgs.
log in
doesn't launch alleg.
when players=14 a message appears: "there are enough players. wanna launch alleg?
u click yes and alleg launchs. u click no and it wont.
there are 2 modes. online mode and offline mode. online mode will do what i just said above.
offline mode will only show how many ppl are logged into asgs but will not alert you.
clicking on the icon will switch modes. dark bell is offline, gold bell is online.
open asgs.
log in

Running Windows 7 x64
Clicking on the icon would launch ASGS but not log in.
Monitoring would show OFF
Running the program as administrator fixed the problem.
Not sure what Spin's problem is.

My problem is exactly what you described or something very related.Compellor wrote:QUOTE (Compellor @ Jun 1 2012, 08:17 AM) Running Windows 7 x64

I don't think running as an administrator fixed it, you've just run into an intermittent issue which simply didn't happen next time.Compellor wrote:QUOTE (Compellor @ Jun 1 2012, 12:17 AM) Running Windows 7 x64

If this happens again, please see if clicking on the icon again shuts down ASGS and relaunches it - monitoring should be on this time.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
