It can be psychologically pretty rough to watch. Just be warned... if not for yourself, in case you plan to take a date to a movie.

There IS a hot chick (not the kind of Brazilian full curves you seem to enjoy but hot in her own abrasive way) and it seems she has a temprary dragon tattoo...

QED

Go watch it and then tell us all your perception of the movie, we trust you...

Indeed this is the case... but it's far from being all fun and games.

attractive and hot are not at all the same things in my book. Unattractive women can be hot... hell even as a man I fit that mold myself. Eye candy like Adept, I like to call chumming the waters ,brings them in and I sleep with them. `yp even as I get increasing less attractive physically I still am attractive for being me, MrChaos.

Thank goodness women are better in tune with the idea that you are the sum of your various parts and physical beauty is only part of the total package.

If I was a gay man I'd have to count on the male labedo to ever get something something

I'm not sure I'd make very good bait for you my friend. While I'm tall and blond, I think I'd need to hit the gym more often for that.

this just goes to show you something about the american film-going audiance.

How come this movie needs a holywood remake? I understand (havn't seen it) it is wonderful as-is.

It's not a remake of the movie, it's another adaptation of the books aptest.

The swedish film cut quite a few corners on the plot, I understand. Whether a new film was necessary I can't say, but it's out there now and it's powerful.

It was done by Hollywood because it was such a powerful film. David Fincher who is well known, respected and actor desired director lusted after making the film. Like la femme nikita it is possible to watch two different versions liking them for very different reasons. If Im not mistaken Fincher's version is truer to the book and darker. My favorite film of his is still Fight Club.
