I'm actually selling my primary gaming machine on ebay right now, if anyone's interested.

Gonna move up to something with MMX on it or maybe a sweet AMD K6-II!

Mobo: Asus Rampage III Extreme
Ram: 6*4GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3
CPU: Intel I7 950 3GHz (will overclock during the colder months)
Gfx: ATI 5850
OS HDD: Intel X25MG2 160GB
Docs HDD: WD Raptor 150GB
Other HDDS, 1TB, 1.5TB, 2TB
Screens: 3* HP ZR24w
Mouse: Ikari Laser Pro
Speakers: Audioengine A2
Mouse mat: Razer Destructor
Other peripherals: keyboard, microphone, scanner, printer, webcam
Currently not connected: Track IR 5, CH Pro Pedals, Saitek X45

Before anyone says nobody will need 640k 24GB of ram, I have done things to make it run out of ram (I turned the page file off, since you don't need one if you've got 24GB of ram).

Flight sims, FSX mostly. I'm hoping that the Mechwarrior reboot will support it (along with eyefinity).

Main problem with it is heat - the ZR24w isn't the most energy efficient screen. I usually turn a screen or two off when I don't need them (also why I keep the processor at stock speeds during summer).

Holy $#@! madp that is awesome. How much power does your whole setup draw though??
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

I overclock my CPU in the winter, too. Keeps my legs warm.

My Alleg Rig - this computer kicked so much ass when it was new back in 2004
P4 3Ghz
1Gb DDR2? Ram
Nvidia 7600GS 512mb (originally a ATI Radeon 9800XT 256mb before it fried itself).
Sound Blaster Audigy 2
80GB HDD
19" CRT Monitor (Trinitron baby!)
Windows XP

My Laptop is better:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz
2GB Ram
Nvidia 8600M GT (256 MB)
Integrated Sound (sucks ass)
120GB HDD
17" Monitor
Windows Vista (also sucks ass)
