I'm not sure how Norton could be part of the problem (if at all). You said that you disabled it, but did you *uninstall* it? AV and firewalls tend not to really disappear until you uninstall and reboot. Give that a try. In Norton's case, you may need to run their removal tool as we know from past experience that Norton doesn't completely uninstall unless you use the removal tool. Just to summarize alleg was working fine 2 days ago. I only got this problem after restarting for a anti-virus update I usually hibernate.
I doubt it because it launched on beta but not normal.
