i forgot to add. Intel chipsets suffer a lot the loading times when it comes to textures. Right after solving this puzzle the game still kept freezing for a sec every so often. I suggest every intel chipset user plays with the option "texture pack". That (on Adept's advice) seems to solve the freezing.

One last advice: don't alt+tab alleg on such chipsets. For some reason it's like hitting alt+f4, just with one sec delay. At least on my laptop it's a sure crash. (i play fullscreen, not sure how it behaves in windowed mode).

It does that if you switch to a resolution that is not supported by your display. Create a custom resolution if you can.
