It's been 4 years... man that's pretty crazy and I read one thread and saw a lot of the same faces...
I don't know whats changed since that time but I just want to say Hi to BS and to say keep chugging away, I remember a lot of good times playing with you all. and maybe, just maybe I'll find the time to get allegiance working and play a game or two. but the chances are low, work consumes alot of time and I've found myself in an overseas relationship, so coming back might distract me from being away from her.
Anyways that all sounds depressing, I originally just stopped by to see how things are doing.

GG BS, it was well played.Bard wrote:QUOTE (Bard @ Feb 7 2011, 03:49 AM) Holy crap, this thread went south fast.
Let's pull it back on track.![]()
Thanks for the write-up Ryj!
Nice job on our Garrison from the sounds of it, BS.
I'm also curious as to why it took us four runs to finish off yours. It sounds like you guys did quite well, not that I'm particularly surprised.
We should totally play against each other more often.
I look forward to seeing stats on this game and reading grav's write-up as well.
I don't know what grav is on about, but our Exp was up well before your first TP drop low a good 4 mins before our garr died, we didn't get ints until the garr blew but that's a different matter.
And it took us so long to finish BS' garr because nobody really bothered nanning the HTT and there was some good point defence by BS outside their base as we were trying to lock it down. It was hard for us to reinforce the camp and lock down their garr as we did not have Booster 1 for the whole game, so it took a while to boost into their home.
Yep
Looking forward to playing you again soon, BS!

You got the garr mostly without a fight because Grav said "guys, leave the garr, fall back to the Exp". Not sure we could have stopped you if we tried though, patties aren't exactly teh @#(! against in-sector gunships.
That tends to impact efficiency, especially vs. fully manned and nanned gunships.
(once we managed to clear their home though, it was kill pinata time!)
Because, get this - we only had lt boosters on our intsBard wrote:QUOTE (Bard @ Feb 7 2011, 04:49 AM) I'm also curious as to why it took us four runs to finish off yours. It sounds like you guys did quite well, not that I'm particularly surprised.
