Tractor beam turrets on cap ships would rock.

And it'd be a bitch to code in asteroids.

I suggested the tractor beam back on '03 ... you need to code it yourself.

Actually in the CD's I got from Peter Arisman there's a document/worklist of considered game features and their dev status at the time (1999-2000?). Tractor beams was one of the ideas mentioned (but no progress had been made).
