If you still want to use a texture pack file I'm not sure if simply changing it from yes to no and back to yes will work. You might have to delete the .pack file in your artwork folder.

Even if you don't have to do it this way it IS another way to do it.

I turn it back on and I'm back on default Graphics
is there a way to turn textures on and keep the Mods?

Yep that worked , I deleted pack file
I tuned on textures in game , everything is
hunky dory :)

Well,first I deleted the packfile, then I started Alleg. It started a generate pack file window and then logged me out. The window said this could take awhile. Got to be suspiciously long. I couldn't cancel it, so I tried logging in again, got logged in, turned on textures that was off and checked the quick training session. The asteroids were super! Many thanks Mesel(sp?). So I quit Alleg, saw the window was still up and not responding. restarted the box, fired up Alleg again to check and everything was fine :o
