I never did get around to finishing this (started it during R3):

this remind me of one of the many things in my dev "todo" list...

entry #34: when mouse is hovering a rock and the 'build on' cursor is shown (happens when about to order a con to build) , display red & green lines showing the 'yet to be build' base doors location (or preview the base with 'ghost' rendering (transparent) instead of the rock).

entre #35: when #34 is active, Right Mouse Button will change the base orientation (1 click to turn it 90° clockwise). eventually add full 3D orientation choice later.

If in the future you see me slow to a stop while HTTing a Belters base, it's because I'm desperately scrambling to find this post.

Eh, my report wasn't that long.

Also, I half-expected you'd be one of the mods (though I didn't bother to check,) but of course you realise you aren't the *ONLY* mod, and my report did go to other people besides you, yesh?

And yes, you did delete my posts in Rants. (Well, a few, in one thread. ) I don't think I have a way to actually check this now, but I remember it fairly clearly. <See edit below>

As I said in the report itself (since you already chose to discuss it in public ), I accept that in the Rants forum, that's more or less perfectly fine. (Which is why I never even remotely made a big deal out of it back then). But CC isn't rants. I'm sure you're probably kidding about deleting my posts in CC, but - again, as I said clearly in the report - given that you've deleted my posts in the past, even in a context where it was okay, I'm not 100% sure that you are kidding. Hence, the report.

By the way, spidey, you're now TWO firsts for me: You're the first (and so far only) person I've ever put on my ignore list, and now your post became the first post I've ever reported.
