I personally think that accidental ews probes inside of bases is a bigger problem than intentional tp2 drops inside of bases.

"Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." -2 Cor 12:9
"Never know how long I've waited, anticipated your smile pressed against mine." -Running
Question: How do you get an accidental EWS probe into a base? O_o You'd have to be intending to drop it right next to the base, but not actually inside of it, which isn't a very good place for a probe since it'd be killed almost right away. Or I guess, like, you're attacking a miner as it's trying to dock and accidentally deploy a probe instead of a prox... but it seems like a long shot that it'd end up lodged inside of the base in that scenario. >_>

@ lexaal: If your needlessly rude comment is meant to imply that "accidental" was sarcasm, then, even if that is the case, I had no reason to think so since firstly, there were no scare quotes around it in Clay's post, and secondly, it is contrasted in that same sentence with "intentional" TP2 drops, so I presumed that since Clay was contrasting accidental and intentional actions, he meant accidental literally.

If it's a big base building on a small rock, probes deployed next to the rock can end up inside part of the finished base and be impossible to kill.girlyboy wrote:QUOTE (girlyboy @ Jun 11 2009, 03:56 AM) Question: How do you get an accidental EWS probe into a base?

If only that were true. It's been done in pug's, the pilot openly admitted to intending to do it.....but no ban ever came from it. Guess it's not an enforced rule anymore.Mr. Kltplzyxm wrote:QUOTE (Mr. Kltplzyxm @ Jun 10 2009, 10:51 AM) The solution is simple. You get a $#@!ing ban for cheating.
