If you have "silly" qestions that you want to ask after you have completed CDT, PM a CDT advisor - I for one will certainly give you my opinion/answer.

Can i join Cadet II or do I have to take the basic Cadet I anyways?

To answer vaguely:
CDT-II runs differently in that all the information is in the private forum and there's no prereading like CDT 1. The course usually starts when they have enough people to run it.
CDT 1 doesn't have a graduation ceremony or testamur or anything. You'll know it's over when you can't log in with your tag and lose access to the cadet forum.

Both courses are self-study. The material is there for you to absorb, and then ask the instructors for anything else you're curious about. As such, you can be as involved or removed as you like. In saying that, the Cadet I spreads the information over 3 weeks, while Cadey II covers 5 weeks.
