Yarr listen here yer rix luving xeno-phillic fool it doesn't make a difference if you get the station at risk warning or not because a Rix SBS can solo an op using 2 or 3 pods giving no chance for the defence at all unless defenders are out of the base at the start, in which case it only takes 2 or 3 rix sbs to take out the base.
I hate hearing all this talk about if there are defenders out patrolling the base then rix sbs runs will fail because its not true, they launch a pod over 1k away which you have to rush to kill and then the next pods another 500m away etc.. etc.. and also the pods arm in 1 second which means that sheer spammage of pods works rather then other factions who have to get close to the base with missiles armed (and high sig) before they can destroy it. Fact is if you have people patrolling outside the base to defend it then with any faction its going to be hard to bomb it but however many sbs it takes to blow the base with that many defenders rix can do it easily with half.
What really takes the biscuit as well is at the end once the base is blown defenders can normally get the satisfaction of shooting that evil SB but oh no, not Mr. Rix SB who because they dropped the pod and then get a 1k lead headstart all cloaked so they are free to blow up the next base along.

I like clay's idea too. Rix sbs are only uber if you have the adv exp sig, range and dmg ga's. I dont believe you can do it uneyed with only basic exp ga's, although they still are quite nasty. With any other faction you could buy a sup, ab2, missle dmg and hc2 for the same amount of money (less actually) and you would have sbs that are pretty much as uber as rix.
@Hsharp, unless its against IC, any sb can solo an op

HSharp, have you actually checked those SD ranges?

Maybe give the drones a longer re-arming time.

It is sometimes possible yes but there is always a slight chance for a defender to launch and kill the sb before the 2nd missile launches but against a single rix SB then the op has no chance

Ditto for any other sbs. Your point?

A Rix SB can take even defended ones down and if done right, without being eyed. Plus, wouldn't adding station at risk tag spam that warning for every single one dropped?

I'm pretty sure you are wrong, unless you are talking about up with exp range, damage and sig ups. In which case an ab2, missile damage 2 sb can do the same.[the same, solo a defended base, not uneyed unless you have hvy cloak.]
I managed to kill a tp with a bios hvy scout camping it with hvy cloak. It's so underused.

heavy cloak 2 + sb = better than ab3 cloak 3 sbs

Sorry to let you know but SD2 with no exp upgrades fires at ~990, with both upgrades it climbs to ~1190 or something like that. Coupled with dispersion, optimal firing range is 1080-1100m from the tech base.
Regular bases (anything non-tech) with no sensor upgrades can be killed at 950m without eye.
