The only reason to drop probes in sectors adjacent to your home to begin with is next to alephs leading to enemy sectors. That's to spot their second wave of cons.
Or to make room to pick up some tech.

Actually, You ejected me out of the net. The thing wasn't made for 2 people. It was more crammed in that probe net then it is on the floor around Brittany Spear's car when she gets out without any underpants on.

So, this year I was not able to probe. As per abitrary rules, that are as arbitrary as the number of probes I need to have dropped in order to say that I have probed, I need to come up with five reasons why I have failed to do my civic duty and probe. As an additional rule, IB can only be blamed twice.

1) IB did something that prevented me from probing

2) IB did something that helped me to probe

And if either of those statements are not making sense to you at this time, then you have obviously forgot that IB is correct. By extension, anything that IB touches is correct and since IB has probably already or will soon post in this thread, this thread is correct and therefore so are those two previous statements.

I must digress. For the next reason that I did not probe I will evoke the obvious. Something that needs absolutely no explanation whatsoever to anybody ever, except to Microsoft Word which is currently saying this entire sentence is a fragment. Of course Microsoft Word fails to realize that I do not care what it thinks and neither will anybody who reads this paragraph – and I do believe I am correct in that assumption. I digress slightly – the newbie from last year may have a little trouble understanding the gravity of the reason that I did not probe and how it indeed causes me to have either an inability or indesire to probe – Yes Microsoft word, indesire, learn the word. Then again if the newbie questioning the meaning of my reasons is still newbie enough to be questioning the meaning of my reasons after playing the game for one year than indeed I must question the newbie’s experience playing the game. And by question I am not talking about giving some sort of short quiz. I am talking about giving a full out, Sarah Palin like interview to the poor sap. I fully digress.

3) Allegiance Drama

With only two reasons left I find myself at a loss of word. I do not know how I could justify missing out on such a tradition of reaching that arbitrary probe count where I could say I have probed. Truly this is horrible as the implications of missing something during New Years are bleak indeed. There is no confirmation of the misdeed until Christmas time next year which means the next 11 and 24/31 months of future goodness could have been negated by my horrid act. I have long suspected that I have witnessed Kris Kringle dashing through the plains of Sri Metsa, riding his bomber pushed by a full team of nanites. I do believe I am again correct in that statement.

4) Loss of words

A short one due to wrist problems, what type of corruption has happened in my original post. For some reason, something is screwier than a talking, two-legged bunny is to Elmer Fudd. Hell, it may even be screwier than the defective products given by the ACME corporation to Wiley Coyote… Super genius. Surely the genius could have just used the money spent on the dynamite and rocket to buy himself stuffed Roadrunner. Better yet he could have bought himself a fried space muckfish, a delicacy in at least 45 sectors and the rarest fish in the world. Either way, digression

5) Corruption

The important thing:
I probed.
Have you?
