Hes right, but when people see low money (normal) money settings, people choose low money factions regardless.

You need 15k for a bios tech base, and with low money comms actually have to consider whether they will put cash into GS and postpone their tech. IC on the other Hand can get a tech base with enh figs or ints for 10k, do that and punch into the enemy before he has a chance. Kill his econ and don't let him get anything out of his home. You will get your end game tech, they won't live that long.

I would be on the ropes about considering bios a low many faction, only if you plan on sticking with gar tech, which in a low many game might be a viable option if you bomb early and bomb hard. In a low money environment bios is going to be behind tech for a very long time. Now in a high money environment I can out tech other factions as bios. Skip your initial bomber/GS rush, thats 10K. Instead you can afford a tech base off your first miner load.

Giga, Belters and maybe GT would favor low money, but I am not that familiar with GT.

TF miners are exspensive as hell. If you loose one, thats it call it a day. Add in they really need a ref to mine effiecently and thats even more money. I wouldn't like to play TF on low money.

i think guitar is right, tf is suicide considering you need to spam refs to be efficient, and coupling that rocks have less he3 with the slow moving speed, your miners would be much less efficient. However, the more money, the better, after 1.15 they are awesome at pulling cash.

the games i played i was ic vs bios (won), then ic vs gt (again, won). this is however not due to my awesome commanding skills, rather a couple exellent players joining my team (serebrone, OMB, xP, all did awesome jobs), and good probing/team rallying (god. at last i broke my losing streak! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ).

Well with low money you actually need fewer refs with tf. I mean they will get the entire rock so you can mine a sector and keep going. Get decent miner d from the beggining and you should do ok.

Any faction can be played on any setting. It depends on how you run your economy.
