I am assured, however, that it works both ways (see Malicious Wraith's post).

it would also help with the "friendly probes on green/red door" issue too. I myself would love to see FF on a majority of the time. To be honest, if someone starts bombing your own teams bases, just boot their ass and report em if its intentional. Theres already people being banned for spamming and booting newbies without cause and all that, so why turn FF off just to insure a few idiots don't do something stupid?

Also, FF on used to be REALLY fun with old Dis 3 (DN4.5) and its AoE. It's like watching enemy adv figs kill each other /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

To heck with mini's! Quickfires are so much more efficient. Psh Psh Psh all home.

It would suck on a bomb run tryin to hit the guy behind your nans... you end up podding all your nans before the guy shooting at them /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

and the bombing your own techbase...just ask BV /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Rojo mentioned it..
Adept wrote:QUOTE (Adept @ Oct 1 2007, 06:35 AM) And it sucks :( that's a crummy reason for anything.

Tactics based on the fact that friendly fire doesn't exist are basically just cheating. In the very least it hurts the atmosphere.
I assume you never commanded/played a game with augz bombing your own Garrison or some rather less intelligent gunner killing the Nan's of your bomber..
FF off is more or less a needed protection mechanism against general idiocy in pickup games /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

ps: But I agree its fun to play with FF on..

Nothing like getting shot by your own newbies. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Excellelnt. Does this mean that the standard for squadron vs. squadron is FF on? It looked like it's not on for the Zone games. Too bad. I would like to see the results, even if I'd be on the receiving end of careless spray-and-pray on occasion.

Phew cool. There is no finer proponent of "friendly nan killer" than myself. /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />

The con's far out-weigh the pro's here.
