Try what I am doing. I use the mouse to turret now. When I am really comfortable with that, I plan on try to fly with it. (G5)

I guess i need to learn to use Mouse now that im getting a laptop.. JS is not practical to carry.
I also got the G5 mouse but i found it cheating.. so just to give other's a chance i use JS all the time.
But gimme low lag and ill whore you with plain keyboard.
Ill whore you...

G5? Not the G7? Sooooooo sexy /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Using a JS is just too much work compared to a mouse IMO. I don't always play on the same comp, so I can't always have one with me. Also, you have to bend your wrist all over the place to move, the mouse is just sliding an inch or two in any direction.

i really wanted a G7, but it ONLY HAS 1 EXTRA BUTTON!
any mouse i get i really want to have 5 buttons.
if the G7 had an extra button next to its side button i would get it right away.
i really want that cool 2000 dpi laser power, but i don't want to loose my 5th button

for added effect, if i do decide to get a G7, i may get one of these with it

p.s. what exactly is a tilt wheel?

At a guess it menas the mouse wheel also tilts from left to right for sideways scrolling.

The scroll wheel tilts to either side. Nothin too useful.
I used the G7 for the last week or so at a friends house. It's beyond awesome. The one button thing is the only real problem, but its not an issue because of all of the other features.

would its software let me bind a sideways push of the tilt wheel to say mouse 4 or 5 so i can use it for TS or my hotkey mod?
if so, i may have to get one of these..

There is a software out there that replaces Logitech's set-point. It allows you to map everything on that mouse.
