He's a mindless spammer, none of his posts have any relavence or point to anything. All they are are low-matter elongated sentances with umpteen billion smilies after them, it's best to just push the ignore user button in this case.

Ignore Shizoku outside the ACS forum. All he ever writes are insults and trivialities.

Press Esc in game. Somewhere in that menu is an option for "Mute Lobby" and "Mute All" -- the former mutes anything typed by people not curently playing, the latter mutes anything sent to "All", regardless of who sent it. I believe neither block whispers, but I'm not certain. Last I checked, the system was really silly and continued to block that stuff even when no game was happening (and therefore everyone was in the Lobby/on All), making the between-game-wait look like one long and really awkward silence. I'd imagine if that has't been fixed it probably can be at some point.

i can't vote....but I always mute lobby, sometimes I even mute ALL, maybe esp when you're new there's enough going on already...

That being said, sometimes the chat is awesome, and funny, just not when I'm try to be aware of what's going on

I often mute the lobby on prime time, just to get rid of the pointless chatter. If it's about the game, great. If it's about something else, talk somewhere else. Grr.

this makes me remember a suggestion...

we could put in some more options with the chat, and have something like two windows, customizable for you to whatever you want. you could have one window be messages sent to all, with another being something like all team chat, or even all commander messages. nothing would be missed, and you can still listen to the all chat

I usually try to mute the lobby chat during a game. As for chatting in NOAT, I typically send PMs to people instead of chatting to all.

I ALWAYS mute the lobby during a game. I wish I knew that I could mute the all channel before reading this thread, but now that i know, I will ALWAYS mute the all channel too. I only want to listen to the game when I am playing. I don't want to listen to the other team's spam or taunts. I dont really want to listen to my own team's spam and garbage either.

This is not because I am antisocial. It is because I am old and my brain is broke. I can only do one or two things at once, and listening to spam takes up bandwidth that i need to do other things, like chew gum and play Alleg at the same time.
