Update

Here's a URL to a Google Video of the Mar 18 Kiba vs. Weedman supremacy constructor tango, narrated in my "almost like that guy on FutureWeapons on the Discovery Channel, but with more hair and no military experience" voice.

This is also a final "tech demo" for the edit method I'll use for future training video footage. Everything except freeze-framed zooms are looking great, if I do say so myself. And I do.

Better-than-the-first one: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-110461617888520015

The high-quality WMV version is at http://hosted.filefront.com/LawsonVideos

Small typo in opening credits:

Kiba@GT

otherwise, excellent work again!

It's speeled correctly. The drop in quality due to Google compression makes the text difficult to read, more like "Klba". *grumble*

I'm uploading the raw PAL DVD MPEG2 file to Google to see if that helps at all. The first one was Windows Media, and skips like a flat stone on a pond. FileFront's version is much better. That one was rendered at full PAL resolution; download the full .WMV at FileFront to see what it's REALLY supposed to look like!

Yep, it is Kiba@GB, not GT. He does not even command GT, he is commanding TF. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Lawson, why did you waste your energy on a fully shielded con? When the con finally loses armour, you are out of energy! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

i really don't think you can blame this on compression

(i did download the full version, but apparently i cant take screen shots of things in windows media player classic or winamp)

quite cool, but interesting you talked about your scout deploying mines when your TF (ok, newbies wont notice this).

and as mentioned before, i was wondering why you were nanning the con when it wasn't damaged, a few shots to make sure you know where to aim would be ok /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

i think it was mentioned that you were using highres stuff in your videos
*warning blog advertisement imminent*
high res shockwave texture
i've released V4 now, you may want to try it out, or you could wait for more feedback about how it looks, i like it anyway /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Nice job! I think it does a good job of covering the situation and the tactical options available. Definitely worthy of a training video.
