The second game was also pretty funny. We had a race:
Bomber vs Garrison
and Sector
overload&Defense vs bombers

Did hvy nan turret disappear in one of the newer DN releases? Because I really think that would have been perfect for the mass bomber/galv runs. The defenders will all launch in figs/ints and will die to overload while any ship that gets nanned even if only a little will survive.

Or we could remove/raise the overload threshhold and do more testing on the change wodka made for increasing the number of updates available.

Sector overload needs to go. Nothing worse than getting podded for no reason.

But it is better than having the server crash on you.

Yeah... it's there for a reason. I think we mighta just been lucky that the server didn't crash when 100 people were in 1 sector.

Is it maybe time to consider upping the sector overload limit? We could try some testing to destruction by piling onto a beta server with sector overload switched off and see what happens.

Have the FAZ devs worked on server stability? Cause if they have, perhaps that would be something good to do, as it would make large games more fun. We overloaded the sector by quite a bit twice, and I noticed very little lag on my end. I did notice that some people were crashing out during that game, but the majority managed to stay onboard.

Although, maybe it's good to keep it in simply for balance issues. Some of the tech does NOT scale well, and having 37 Adv figs w/ galvs mounted ripping into a sector is completely impossible to defend against, no matter how many people are defending.
