i signed up to play entropia a week or so ago (check out the competition, you should try our game ), i understand it is supposed to become more fun when you actually have money and don't have to spend all your time sweating stuff.

Sure its not the mmo geeks, its the reputation we earn as a community. Allegiance is spread by word of mouth, and all and all we are a very fragile community. If enough people disliked us enough, it is not unforseeable that they could easily take down our servers and websites. When our new player turnover rate is already so high, anything hurts.

btw, your really not helping your OWN image, and if that isnt reason enough to think at least 3 times before posting... well your a lost cause.

I think it is really disgusting how this whole voting business has turned out. This has nothing in common anymore with a fair or friendly competition. It is just embarassing. There is no good reputation to be gained for either Alleg or EU, regardless of who conjures up the most votes in the end. I imagine a stranger checking out what's going on will just shake his head and proceed to play somewhere else.

they are back to their proxy voting... i just voted, and decided to refresh a few times, atleast 5 votes in a minute. we're behind another 120-140 votes right now.

Wow, I think what people will be dissappointed in when they come here are the haters. Psych feels the need to go back two pages to try and incite me to defend actions that I already recognized as not beneficial- merely enjoyable, like a cigarette... but easier to quit----- which I did days ago, but he must harp...

Anywho then MadP gets blamed for their voting spike (but Wizzszz was already at work when they were against Dominion) and he is the only reason we are in this competition at all. Kudos to MadP and if this competition has deteriorated, it is not our doing. Furthermore your statement about an outsider is assinine (whoever made it) bc an outsider will not check both forums- 200+ pages on one and 20 on the other- and check the vote history (plus calculate that every now and then votes jump by ~100) just to piece together who was fair in the vote competition. Seriously, they will see "oh Alleg won, let me check that out" or they wont pay any attention to the winner at all.

Once again you all take yourselves and this internet drama (which I will admit to being both an instigator and benefactor [FFS just in the sense of personal enjoyment]) far too seriously.

Edit: forgot to say- if anyone incited them it was me, plz attack me and refrain from bothering MadP
