Okay okay, spam-voting aside, I think the ratings and comments about Allegiance truly are telling when compared to the ratings and comments of the other top 5 games.

While we definitely have fewer players ("Best Game No-one's Played"™), we have a much tighter-knit community. Those who have heard of/played this game agree with a unified voice: Allegiance really is the best game we've played. There simply is no other game like it.

Sure, other games have 500,000 players or some other ungodly number, but what is their satisfaction? Those games' players gave their own favorite game a lower rank, and their comments seem to indicate that it's a "pretty good" game.

None of Allegiance's comments are like that - the only negative comment was from 2002 and reads "problem with cheats." which we all know is NOT an issue today.

All in all, I think we can be very proud of our community, our game, and the effort we all put in to make this game more fun. I doubt any of the other top-5s can say the same thing!

I'm just being prickly because I went out late feeling positive, drank one beer, dragged a sorry ass of a friend home to pass out, drank the last of her single malt and came home. Two hours round trip. Sad part is I had to pass on two parties roaming the town to do this. Saddest part is I fired up Allegiance instead of pr0n when I got home.

Sad.

PadMeople, you don't know when to zip it do you? He went onto EU's boards and taunted them. I wouldn't be suprised if they become mobilized and stick it to us. Either way, show some class.

their rules are really strict (more so than here)
you cant even link off site images, my link to allegiance's home page got removed.
but i guess it keeps them in order... if they want to host everyone's images that's their choice, and its actually quite a cool service /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />, though you do drop the quality of the images a little :/

dam, i was hoping they wouldn't think of that

(they can pay for adverts in game, which the 500k people who play may see (well some of them), which would mean not just the fewer forum users would see it, but people who play the game too would)

we should re-name the teams in game

team 1 -> Vote For Alleg
team 2 -> on mpogd.com

i know there are a lot of people who play but don' check the forums that often.
tell people in game to vote (between games obviously)
