this is an extremely narrow-view analysis. high oil prices would be damaging to the overall Canadian economy because we are still a net importer of oil.

I was traveling the past two weeks through New England, lowest gas price was 2.19, highest 2.89. Compared to my home town in Germany it was cheap (5.48). Even NYC was cheaper.

Weird thing is happening. Trump pulls out of the nuclear deal with iran, pulls out of syria, doesn't do anything when iran blows up saudi oil facility. Seems like saudi, u.a.e, Qatar want to make peace with iran. Maybe this was a good move.
