I don't think he had the support of his own party. In other words, they had better things to do. Seems he went with a tactic of trying to make it look like the democrats were causing a government shutdown by not funding the wall. His last option to fulfil his grassroots base promise, is to declare a national emergency in order to build it.Broodwich wrote:QUOTE (Broodwich @ Feb 3 2019, 01:20 PM) lol
so hellbent, he just decided to start pushing for it halfway through his presidency, AFTER losing the house?
How naive are you?

Sunrodent is just busy thinking that the cheeto is a brilliant negotiator, and not a child who's managed to use a cult of personality to make morons into fellating zombies.
Some people are just drawn to authoritarians I suppose. It's a shame because they will come for you as soon as you are not convenient to them but hey as long as those people (Sunrodent knows who) are taken out first, it's all fine by sunrodent.

Phoenix1, Not only are you attacking me again, you are also now presuming to not only know what i think, but what i know.
(sunrodent knows who) i not only don't know who you are talking about, you leave me not knowing what you are talking about.
i have found it is always difficult to converse with anyone who shows no respect for another persons point of view.
i only entered this conversation to exchange thoughts and possibly learn something.
So far i have learned that you are completely intolerant of anyone who doesn't share your point of view.
i've never said President Trump is a brilliant negotiator.
With regards to your implication that i am drawn to authoritarians i disagree. i have found you to be less of an attractive person the more authoritative you have become with me.
Life is Funny, without it yer Dead.
And Sunrodent deflects like a bot.

I agree things are better. I like how our energy independence is getting stronger and stronger. I like us involved in less foreign wars. I love how were taking on china economically. And whoever reads this please disregard any comments from p1 and cashto. Their views are so far left they only see the bad in America and nothing else. I promise you america is doing just fine.peet wrote:QUOTE (peet @ Feb 6 2019, 08:28 PM) Glad to see we were wrong about the State of America. All is great in the USA. Everyone applauded.

If we had a wall, perhaps then we could have a more sophisticated immigration policy.cashto wrote:QUOTE (cashto @ Feb 2 2019, 10:56 AM) If Trump weren't so ignorant perhaps we could have a more sophisticated immigration policy than just WAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
I think our spirits just became one, Cashto. You complete me. Or do I complete you?
What is happening between us. Can you feel this? I feel like I'm walking on a cloud.

Yes we know where you, the racist, stand on these issues.Sheriff Metz wrote:QUOTE (Sheriff Metz @ Feb 6 2019, 03:19 AM) But really this is probably the worst thing you've ever said.
Super close minded, stuck to some victim complex or other insecurities, who knows.
In reality borders are actually man made and we all live on the planet at the same time. Mind blown eh? Did you know a border is an imaginary line? Crazy I know.
Since the advent of planes and especially the internet borders are now meaningless. We can really go to all parts of the globe. We now know that there are tons of different cultures of people doing their thing at the exact time we are doing ours. We know of their pain and suffering and we know of our own relative opulence and naturally want to help them as much as we can at least have a chance to get to where we are.
Where you are born is by chance Metz! The color of your skin is random! But you don't understand that?
Further, we applaud people that rise up out of circumstance and move on to a better life. They do what it takes for themselves and family. /endpost
