A full on "official" war against a well equipped and well run military such as Russia or China?
Be careful what you wish for.

Oh absolutely not. Just that Brood isn't wrong here with his original point. People forget why the west pushed so hard for international trade post-WWII.

if you're suggesting post-WWII peace is due to international trade, I'd say you're wrong. it's more likely a result of The Bomb.

trade hasn't stopped countries from fighting before, and it won't stop them today.

Just like the feminist, "let's get as many foreigners as we can in this tiny country" idea crashes and burns horribly in Sweden. As a result all the other "progressive" countries ... applaud and try to do the same.

It's a bit different being in the US. Somewhere, something is wrong in the world. Everyone goes "yeah lets do something!!" and then we go to war in some country or other like it's the be all, end all solution to every problem. For a bit after people realize hey, maybe this isn't such a great idea. And then we collectively forget and vote ® and go to war again

~~~
Anyways, Brexit, like trump, is one of those ideas people thought would be great to ride along and get popular. Now, they are realizing that wasn't the greatest idea. Guess we'll see what happens, but i'm guessing May implements the deal and promptly gets punted out of office. Then nobody comes up with a better one
No. The bomb and US military supremacy is the reason for widespread peace. It's more that international trade centered in the US gives the US more diplomatic levers to use if they aren't idiots about it (see: current administration, even though the China actions are from the right intent, they are bad plans and execution).
So.
There's no Meaningful Vote 3 (because the first two have presumably been deemed to be meaningful enough by themselves).
There's no No Deal.
There's no 2nd Referendum.
There's no extension without EU acceptance.
There's no political will to revoke.
There's 10 days left to go.
a) Cancel BREXIT
b) Delay BREXIT (as long you don't have to vote in May)
c) Deal with no deal BREXIT
