If you have kids (and even if you don't so long as you're a bare minimum decent human being) you should be able to garner a spark of empathy and admit that what is currently happening is wrong.

If anyone has issues with the law, then they can rally and change the law.
Is separating children from parents appropriate in this case?... I say "yes". That doesn't mean I approve of the conditions they are living in.
The parents have demonstrated that they are willing to defy another country's laws by crossing borders and, therefore, are nothing short of criminals. These people were not escaping from concentration camps, they were people who were unhappy with their lives in their own native country.
I feel sorry for the children who got dragged into this by their parents, but lets keep the blame where it belongs (with the parents).
I believe Trump forsee's a future where Mexicans flood the border with masses of people trying to cross illegally. His wall seems to be the best alternative to gunning down those people.

Yes fleeing famine, violence and domestic abuse is just because they aren't "happy" with their native country.

Yes., I'm quite certain they weren't happy with that.
I'm all about strict border / immigration management but specifically separating children from parents due to an illegal stay in the country or attempt at illegal immigration seems cruel, excessive, and without any good justification.
