Greed at work. There should be public floggings and prison for Execs and boards who defile solid businesses by selling unrealistic dreams for their own profiteering.

From my understanding, they made some @#(!ty investments/ acquisitions in other companies and will continue to make guitars. Les Paul line should still be on the market.

Yeah, they aren't going anywhere. They'll liquidate some assets and be just fine, hopefully picking up a non-bat@#(! ceo along the way.

Perhaps it will force them to go in a good direction, for a while now they've been making some questionable choices

Also their qc has been lacking, I've had to send back more 2000$ and up Gibsons in the last year than I have Fenders in the last seven years.

Was it gibson that got new management and changed the design of their pickups which started the hunt for the old pickups and older guitars? I remember reading about that long ago. The pickups I'm thinking of, looked like circuit boards.
