That would be a rather ridiculous amount of effort from a near-nonexistent group of developers for a game community that's mostly dead.
Several people have. The latest attempt was by TB and I think he talked to you about it? I was supposed to help him with it but ehhhhhhTheAlaskan wrote:QUOTE (TheAlaskan @ Apr 24 2018, 02:58 PM) Has anyone considered making allegiance 2?
I disagree. There's a clear plan towards getting Allegiance 2 made, it's just that it's a rather long path that most people don't want to go through.LANS wrote:QUOTE (LANS @ Apr 24 2018, 03:36 PM) That would be a rather ridiculous amount of effort from a near-nonexistent group of developers for a game community that's mostly dead.

There have been at least half a dozen in house Devs start doing an Allegiance 2.phoenix1 wrote:QUOTE (phoenix1 @ Apr 24 2018, 08:12 PM) Several people have. The latest attempt was by TB and I think he talked to you about it? I was supposed to help him with it but ehhhhhh

We've been so focused on every attempt to do it in-house which is rather ridiculous. I always thought that the steam release would be a viable proof of concept that we could then take to a major developer and say, "hey, we have this idea to make a new game. It's going to be similar to this already existing game, but different. Here's the design document that we came up with, and we've shown we have a market for it."

Alto trek is what inspired Rashid to make Allegiance, not the game engineWasp wrote:QUOTE (Wasp @ Apr 26 2018, 12:59 AM) TREK
