On the minimap, silicon rocks are a tealish color and carbon rocks are a purplish blue.

The thing that bothers me is that giga specs that go on C rocks are "Ca" specs.

What color are they in game? $#@! if I know. IIRC C rocks are bluish, but I don't spend a lot of time looking at tech rocks in first person view. Honestly whenever I look at a sector I look for the biggish rock that's colored differently. I only happen to know U rocks are orange because that color stands out from the blueish/greenish hodgepodge of the other rocks.
