I was a pretty strong defender of this game... about 3 years ago. It is never going to come out, at least not in any sort of finished "this is a full game" state. I don't know if they set out to turn it into a long-form scam, but that's what it's become. This long in development and I STILL don't have the game I paid them for.
Alpha 3.0 sounds kinda cool, but it isn't a game. It's still just an alpha tech-demo of what a game might look like if they ever released one -- which they won't.
Squadron 42 is my last real hope. That MIGHT actually see the light of day, in which case I'll be mostly happy.

For those of us who were there at the beginning we all remember. We said Chris make your game, make it your way, and take as much time as you need to do it.
i new the kids in the back seat would drive me crazy with "are we there yet?" And the other kids crying and whining that we would never get there. i have been paying attention. i know we will get there.

After three years and million of dollars (are we there yet?)
why keep on driving when you knew you are lost.

At the current rate of development by the time the game is finished it will be obsolete so it's irrelevant if it's actually ever finished or not if they don't pick up the pace, and they don't seem like they're going to.
This game will not be relevant in 5-10 years. It needs to come out in the next like year or scrap it altogether because this is a waste of time and money.

the difference being that when one takes ones kids on holiday in the car you usually know the holiday exists and there isn't some bloke encouraging you to give him hundreds of pounds in order that the holiday might exist at some uncertain point in the future.sunrodent wrote:QUOTE (sunrodent @ Dec 9 2017, 09:28 PM) For those of us who were there at the beginning we all remember.
