after so many years and Scientists still don't know it yet, but it is so easy to pity on some one and call them denier
EPA chief could not come out and say it and Sahara desert used to be green.
I just add another year on my list that global warming scientists don't know jack.
Green Sahara: African Humid Periods Paced by Earth's Orbital Changes
Here's some science that indicates the sahara used to be green, but since scientists that cover this topic are by definition "global warming scientists", well I guess this information is wrong.
Unless of course we are either A. cherry picking the scientists or B. cherry picking the data.

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/grl.50563/full
This shows deserts getting greener from Co2, but again, science, so toss it out.

You know what, lets just skip the science and let our kids decide what happened, because we got all the stuff we wanted and that's what matters.

Btw the new EPA chief is a lackey for industry
excerpt from NYTimes

'WASHINGTON — A legal fight to clean up tons of chicken manure
fouling the waters of Oklahoma’s bucolic northeastern corner —
much of it from neighboring Arkansas — was in full swing six
years ago when the conservative lawyer Scott Pruitt took
office as Oklahoma’s attorney general.

His response: Put on the brakes.

Rather than push for a federal judge to punish the companies
by extracting perhaps tens of millions of dollars in damages,
Oklahoma’s new chief law enforcement officer quietly
negotiated a deal to simply study the problem further.

The move came after he had taken tens of thousands of dollars
in campaign contributions from executives and lawyers for the
poultry industry.

It was one of a series of instances in which Mr. Pruitt put
cooperation with industry before confrontation as he sought to
blunt the impact of federal environmental policies in his
state — against oil, gas, agriculture and other interests. His
antipathy to federal regulation — he sued the EnvironmentalProtection Agency 14 times
— in many ways defined his tenure as Oklahoma’s attorney general.'

I've never quite understood why people think that we can make large changes to the composition of the atmosphere without that having some sort of knock on effect.

There is a lot to that..
There is much speculation that <some>Condensation Trails are the U.S. government seeding the clouds with aluminum oxide to counter climate change.

doom: quote There is evidence of rapid climate change all over the world. If nothing is done there will be major negative consequences, and there already are. I actually got my undergraduate degree in environmental science.

this person spend his whole life career to study environmental and I admire his mind set (book smart) but very few people like him
go against big corporation and fails.

raven quote: I've never quite understood why people think that we can make large changes to the composition of the atmosphere without that having some sort of knock on effect.

I agree with raven.

If you agree with me, why did you vote for someone who doesn't? Do you consider climate change to be a minor issue?

now i am going to ask you this, how are you going to convince China and India to do the same
Former President Obama been sitting in the office for the last eight years, run trillion of dollars going to waste and he wait till the end of his term to say something about it
Ohh UK are no better than America, so tell me raveen, what have you done to make the world a better place ?

#FakeNewsGlobeyStyle

Bravo Globey on the Donald Trump parody. We think that Alec Baldwin has him down perfectly, but I venture to say that you "do" him equally well.

Tell a load of unverified Breitbart/Fox facts and then throw an escape route comment in at the end to divert the conversation.

Exemplary, treat yourself to a good Texas, something of your choosing.

Where's your evidence that Clinton is a Climate Change denier? I mean Trump outright said it so we can take his position as read. I'm fairly sure that Clinton didn't say it, in fact she said the opposite so you need to provide evidence.

And of course selling, buying or indeed analy inserting Uranium is utterly irrelevant.

For me, I work in flood risk management so I ensure that new houses are built with climate change in mind (specifically higher rainfall) and we're now pushing to get greater biodiversity as part of our drainage systems which will have clear environmental benefits.

I've done what I can to reduce energy use at home - recently I switched to LED lightbulbs for example. It's hard though with small children in the house, we have the heating on way more than I'd like. Nationally, the UK government "played a major role"* in the Paris agreement which is limiting CO2 emissions and has been ratified by 134 parties including China and India**

It's probably not enough but it's a start that can be built on. What have you done Globey, personally, locally and nationally? And how much of that will be undone by your current President?
