ya, i have always been glad to be Canadian, and i have felt proud of Canada sometimes but i don't think i have ever felt proud to be Canadian.
At the same time i have always been proud of my Parents but glad to be their son. You guys think about a lot of stuff man.
Having lived in Europe as a kid i really enjoyed the differences between countries and peoples and i don't think it is in the worlds best interest to lose those National identities.
i am against a one world government as right now i know there are still some countries i could go to and have a cigarette at the table in a restaurant between courses. it's selfish i know.
You loose you're identity? Just look at Texas, Québec, Bavaria, Scotland, ...

exactly. i was partly agreeing with ryujin about nationalism and flag waving.
Its like being proud to be born so smart, i had nothing to do with it. why should i be proud.
im also not proud of being so arrogant and insensitive but i've worked at it for years and have always feft it was important to listen to the little people.
