Yes! I vote for republican after 8 years with democrat with the HOPE and CHANGE didn't turn out well either

Define this "media" you speak of. Fox wants us to think that since Obama has become president we've descended into a totalitarian police state. Which is fair really because the major difference between the Obama and Bush presidencies is the extent to which we're living in a police state is becoming more and more transparent.

WRT voting republican, frankly I couldn't even be bothered to vote for the party of Palin, Cruz, and Trump. I can't fathom someone who honestly thinks that a party with those as their "leaders" (let alone Carson or the other clowns) is a party that won't make everything worse for this country.

Meanwhile just going off the actual statistics and the actual numbers being presented by most sources (including, but not limited to, both sides of the media), it's inescapable that the past 8 years were better than the previous 8 years... just as the next 8 years are going to even better than the previous 8 years. @#(! gets better... and it takes monumental mismanagement to make @#(! worse.

Interestingly the Republican party managed to do that not just once, but twice in the past thirty-five years.
