That is not a stalling aircraft OR a leaf drop.
What you are seeing is a controlled flat spin (spiral staircase). If you notice at 0:42 the exhaust shows that the aircraft was not even flying a straight course prior to the maneuver.
During this flat spin, the aircraft is losing altitude (as seen by the exhaust) but at a lesser rate than a normal flat spin, because he is applying forward thrust, thus; giving him just enough lift and airflow over the control surfaces to steer with.
Gun & Control ?
Owning a pistol in Australia just isnt worth the bother. Someone is just going to steal it from you and use it in crime. noone wants a longarm and that suits me.
If you live in a country where you feel a gun is the only way to protect your liberty or rights, you are living in a pretty crap country!

This is how conversations play out with me:
me: "the second amendment is somewhat out dated. in the age of tanks and airplanes, even an assault rifle isn't going to keep the government at bay. the idea that having a gun will keep you safe from the government is a thing of the past."
them: "well i know people in our armed services, those people in control of the tanks and airplanes will never turn against us."
me: "then what do you need your assault rifle for?"
