Windows Version (and Service Packs): 8.1, latest updates.
Installed Mods: none
Make and version of anti-virus: Emsisoft Anti-Malware, latest updates. (disabled)

Error:
After starting the launcher, entering my callsign and password I get the message following message next to the loading bar:
"Machine information package was incorrect."

output.log: http://pastebin.com/rKjPRbka
dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/8pL9Xfef

Any ideas?
I can launch the game in offline mode and it works, but online... nope.
I have tried different compatibility modes and I've done re-installation about 7 times.

Do you use some kind of proxy (Emsisoft Anti-Malware)?
The Escapist (Justin Emerson) @ Dec 21 2010, 02:33 PM:
The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.

No, that product doesn't even have a proxy capability and I don't have any VPN software activated at the moment.

Damn, that would have been too easy solution. :/

Is it possible that because he played a long time ago on a different computer, that the "Machine Identifier" feature is locking him out?

Sadly, I created that callsign today.

Are you running it as administrator? If not, give it a shot and see if it starts.

Thanks for your patience, we'll get you up and running!

Yes.
Windows firewall completely disabled, and router doesn't do any filtering for outgoing traffic.

Yes, it actually does that by default. (Also tried with the normal "Run as Administrator" option).

Any idea what could cause that error? (Is it about connection or...?)
I hope we get this figured out because I'm kinda interested to see how I feel about Allegiance after 7 years of absence, I remember loving it in 2007/2008. :)
