When Simultaneously rolling and thrusting, my thrusters can get stuck. It happens using only my keyboard as well as when I use my mouse to map the roll. It seems to be more frequent when mapping to the mouse, but I can get it to happen with only using the keyboard . Is this a known problem?
Also, I tried mapping zoom in and zoom out to my mouse wheel (just for fun). When I use it in other programs like Microsoft word, it is showing numpad + and numpad - , but it doesn't work in game. Again wondering if this is a known issue as well.
I'm gonna post this in development forum as well

Hey Fishbone,
I had this problem too before I started using a Razer gaming keyboard. I believe your problem is likely to be the number of simultaneous keys that can be pressed on the particular keyboard you are using. It's not the game software. It's not necessary to use a gaming keyboard to solve this. I solved it previously just by using another keyboard. If you get computer beeps for example when trying vertical thrust, side thrust, and back thrust at the same time you might have a keyboard that doesn't allow for 3 or more simultaneous key presses.
I suspect it's not related to the mouse toggle but I could certainly be wrong.
Best to you,
Ten

Why is it showing `num+` and `num-`? Do you have any software that $#@!s up normal mouse use?fishbone wrote:QUOTE (fishbone @ Jul 12 2014, 06:51 PM) Also, I tried mapping zoom in and zoom out to my mouse wheel (just for fun). To get the effect you seek for zooming when in the turret you will need to map the mouse wheel up to full thrust and down to reduce thrust. I believe you are correct that the mouse wheel doesn't work for zooming when in the cockpit.

I think they solved this mouse wheel thing in some R's releases a while back. he +/- is because that is the default zooming key for it, they just checked it to work with the mouse wheel. Otherwise the only way to zoom in game using the mouse was through scrpiting programs.
