Same here same here, just saw this topic and somehow i was hoping, more like dreaming, there'd be a squad under the name "allegiance" or something. Would like to see you old farts in the star citizen game

It's true. We do mostly hate each other.

However I'm very much following the SC development, as well, and would love to have some people to play with at launch... even if I hate them =P

i've got a half dozen ships now, so my question is could i let a couple of you guys fly my origin 3000i's as escort for my tanker or would you have to have your own ships?

ya, but, i desperately want to walk around my hanger looking at my ships, inside and out, man. heheheheeh

but mainly as i have said i am investing my money philanthropically for the selfish reason that i want this game made the best he can make it.

somebody else is saving the whales.

oh, i should say with regards to being selfish, i am also giving some money to Aubrey De Grey and the Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence Research Foundation

so hopefully i will be able to play the game for many years to come. (and because i think it would be great if we could all live to be 1000 years old)

It isn't hate as much as we pool ourselves into competitive groups and then put halos on our teammates and pitch forks in the hands of our foes. Any thought of going from group to group is frowned on to ridiculed and/or seen as a full blown character defect.

What will the fundng mdel be like? Will SC cost x dollars / month to play on the official servera? Will it be a normal 50 buck nuy in, and then only paying for "premium things" like faster nlocking of ships, and insuranse?
