I have an idea to help jumpstart the Allegiance brand. The main problem we've been having is that our thinking is too constrained: We are only thinking about Allegiance as it pertains to computer games and the internet. If we want Allegiance to have the exposure it deserves, we need to expand into other forms of media.

One of the ways I propose that we do this is to start a live action TV series based on the lore. Imagine how awesome this would be to see on your television every week.

The show would follow Collin Steele, a commander in the Iron Coalition living on a station with his family in a far off part of Coalition space. His military life is mostly dealing with Belter pirates, incursions from the Bios, and keeping Gigacorp in check. Its hard, grueling work, but it is all worth it to protect the ones that he loves. Except...soon things started to go wrong. Iron Coalition outposts start to go silent, and entire crews of capital ships mysteriously vanish. The cause is the subject of weeks of mystery, until the truth is finally revealed: Humanity is not alone. The Rixians, curious about humanity, have been abducting and experimenting on humans for unknown reasons (later revealed to be trying to discover whether or not humans can ascend.) Humanity, still divided after centuries of conflict after Earth's destruction, is thrust into the galactic stage, having to contend with the mysterious Rixians, the aggressive and violent Dregklar, the omnivorous Omicron Hive, the Technoflux, the failed military experiment that has turned against them, and the Ga'Taarans, an offshoot of humanity whose advanced technology can be the key to preserving humanity. Steele and his fellow commanders and soldiers must fight through thick and thin, to learn what is means to love and to lose, to face true hardship and sacrifice, to ensure the survival of the human race, the Iron Coalition, and the ones that they love.

If the TV show can gain a following, then we are set. Allegiance's fans will multiply by 100 fold, the popularity of this game will never be greater, and our crisis will come to a close.

This idea is epic.
A hero is not one who never falls, but one who gets up again and again, NEVER losing sight of one's dream!

Unless someone here has found a way to finance this AND to get permission to use the names and etc from alleg then totally impossible. Else extremely improbable.

They can have steelfury in the show, as a hired hand to investigate the disappearing outposts. They can use the name minigun to fly the scout ship...in deep space with scanners on maximum range.

We can also get Justin Bieber to say he plays Allegiance, and all our problems will be solved.

Finding a famous celebrity that lives nearby one of us, breaking into their house and threatening them with death if they don't give a little publicity to Allegiance is probably more sensible and realistic then most of the ideas we get here. Of course someone's probably going to go to jail for a long time... but think of the greater good!

Incidentally there's no celebrities living near me.

I think you would probably have an easier go at making Allegiance 2.
