You're not gonna get full speed if you make your own cables? Huh? That's a new one to me but I don't exactly keep up on the stuff.

By what i mean is, hand crimped vs store bought cables/factory crimped.

Searching a bit and, from what I've gathered, it's mostly a time issue for high-paid techs that need a lot of cables. monoprice looks awesome.

I do imagine some of the premade-cables can be more durable. Some people just suck ass at crimping.

Cat6 is a bitch to crimp compared to Cat5.

Why deal with link aggregation and crappy drivers, if you can use 10GBASE-T (Intel X540)...

you know how much $$$ 10GB switches are? let alone 10GB cards...

Besides... i already have it setup... and the drivers only required a little bit of hacking to get them to work on windows 8 :P
