Oh, that's what i tlooks like with a modern PC.
My PC is mostly below minimum requirements but it gets by with the odd stutter when everything is set to low. The graphics are about the same quality as the original Half Life though.

The game makes Allegiance feel easy to pick up as a newbie. I feel like I should just open fire any time I'm unsure of whether a humanoid shape is an ally or an enemy.
Also it's such a meat grinder. The grunts die in a half a second's burst form a basic weapon.

Been using Joystick with z-axis for rolling. Took a little time to decide on that. I kinda like to go with 0 throttle and just use w which is for lift for me, and pitching the nose at about a 30 degree angle from the ground. Flying sorta like a helecopter, it helps identifying targets on the ground and gives you more time with the target in the cross hair. Also works good for strafing slow flying gunships or Galaxies. If you get missile locked, re-engage the throttle and fly level to safety.

Hmm, so Alleg controls rather than flightnsim ones FIZ. I guess I'll try it. I haven't managed a single air-kill with the mouse, so I really need the stick.
Do you fly as light assault (for ability to bail out) or engineer (for landing and quick repairs)?
