we have a chance to give our input with regards to flight model, i need words to describe it. can't find a utube vid that shows thrusters capabilities.

i agree we should invite him to try it, however he may be a little busy right now...

Please don't make him play Allegiance. The community will eat him alive for being a newbie and then he'll go into a deep, dark depression, and then Star Citizen will never come out.

IDK, guys, but this game sounds like a space sim fan's dream game. I'm skeptical if it'll actually come to fruitation, but I just upped my pledge to $60 because I want to see this game made exactly as he's describing it.

I'm enjoying watching this get all the funding it deserves =) I've upgraded from $30 to $60, myself, so I urge everybody else to pledge! This is gonna be a great one. He sounds so passionate and determined to make the ultimate space sim, and he's the right guy to do it.

Oh really? What about David Braben with Elite Dangerous also on Kickstarter? He is pretty much the founder of the open world space game.

I didn't say "the only guy." I said "the right guy." There can be multiple "right guys." Just ask Viscur.

Also, this guy who made Elite apparently hasn't made any modern space sims. Chris Roberts has a good # of space sims under his belt, including more modern fare like "Starlancer" and "Freelancer" (which I freaking loved). I'm 10x more excited about Star Citizen. Chris Roberts seems to have a vision, and so far it looks like he's gonna make it happen.
