What? This does nothing to the big multi-national firms, except if they want to import good A from Country Y they will have a steep enough tariff that it would just make more sense to make the product in America and sell it locally.

Sorry, I never really bought into the whole Globalization, New World Order thing.

See now you are putting words in my mouth, I never said New World Order, what I am saying is that an economy is based on interaction of country A with country B, thus causing a monetary value of the currency, when you isolate the foreign based economy that we have, you are not only affecting country A and B, but country C D E and F. If a corporation is told that it would be imposed a tax for being based out of the United States you will have outsourcing with the headquarters in the United States, it wouldn't affect the corporation but the individual.
