They changed the free mechs, so I'm a little at loss on what to recommend. LRMs are maybe the easiest thing to do some good with. If there's a missile boat on offer, try that. When you get enough C-bills, buy a cheap commando and run around as a scout.

Right now theres a trial awesome with a pair of lrm15's and 2 large lasers. But thats subject to change come monday.

I think they plan on rotating the trials every week. So in the event you ever see a trial raven, dont play it >.>
