You may noticed that R6 is under development since December 2009. In the past months my team fixed the last know existing bugs. R6 is almost ready for Prime-Time! The Dev Team has done a wonderful job of squashing the last known bugs and we're nearly ready to roll.

To push forward we gonna plan a 72 hour test marathon, beginning on Thursday. We'll shut down the regular lobby and only BETA will be available to play.

We need one FINAL full-fledged test to prove that R6 is ready for release. That means a 72 hour stress test and you get to be part of it. Starting Thursday we're going to switch over to BETA only to ensure R6 can go LIVE.

You may haven't played on BETA yet, because you didn't care or ran into troubles while trying it. We want to solve these problems.
You need to be part of this test. We don't want to leave anyone behind. We need to know that R6 works on your machine and this will be the last chance for you to find out and have it fixed before it's too late.

R6 is our most ambitious release yet. You don't want to miss it!

Before you're able to run BETA you need to meet the following requirements :

You need Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Redistributable Package installed and an up-to-date DirectX.

There are two ways getting on BETA installed on your PC. The installer includes the required software components (Visual Studio runtime and DirectX).

Via ASGSStart ASGSSwitch into BETA mode (Menu: Allegiance -> Beta mode)
Select Update / Repair critical files (Menu: Help -> Update / repair critical files)
Start Allegiance via ASGS in BETA modeUse beta installer (download)
Run installerStart Allegiance BETA via desktop shortcut or via ASGS (beta mode)

If you have problems getting on R6, please post on helpline. On helpline you also find a pinned topic, with the most common problems of getting R6 running.

For squadgames the regular lobby will be available again on Sunday morning.

Sorry, forgot that I've installed an experimental build on beta a few days ago...

I rolled back to stable build.

Carp, I'll have to be there.

Anyway, it's April now (school) so most apologies to the CC Team for my absence.

I tried it at 21.04 at 19:20 CET. Created new game, unchecked second team and then tried to change map. 'Start game' button was not available anymore after pressing 'Apply settings'.

My bad. I saw it was 85-100.

P.S. I've unchecked 'Beta mode' in ASGS. And then ASGSUpdate failed to download ASGSClient. Then I tried to start update manually but download speed was so slow that I'm downloading installer now :(. Will check with 1-5 per team later.
