Pretty much the changes will allow the top tier commanders a SLIGHT advantage as far as running econ because of the money being broken down into smaller amounts spread out in small intervals
and that's still a slight advantage to the top tier - which is not a bad thing, because it encourages top tier comms to comm. the game needs that.

but more importantly it greatly hinders the capability of people to rush cheese tech and whore on the less fortunate
because that will encourage everybody else to play. and the game needs that too.

I don't how many different times and ways something can be explained before

NOU

stops being a valid argument from those in positions to change things

Try to get your history right :D I'm only responsible for two settings above: Big Game (which is only meant for 50+ games on East West which always needed more money) and Outrageous which was meant for testing. Neither is used in regular games. So the only other post-MS settings in there are Solap and Rib, and those are hardly seen anyway and can be nuked, sure.

And you are wrong about map size vs total money. As the map gets bigger total money doesn't increase. This is the only reason to have Total Money settings >1.0 anyway and is less of a reason now given the small player base.

QUOTE We also need to address the maximum team size issue, and switch back to 1-5, 4-8, 5-10, 6-12, 8-15, 10-20, etc. Like back in the day, as this also allowed for fine tuning of balance, and more fair games, while encouraging multiple games to be on at once instead of this 1 at a time silliness.[/quote]

Which we just tried on the beta lobby and was universally hated by everyone. Can you really not see the tremendous problems this will cause?

Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.

h3 Regen is constant per rock, more rocks = more total money.

I've seen the decline of this game being directly related to only a single match going, we need to fix that.

I would absolutely agree with you if there were enough players around to create multiple games.

However what you would end up doing with enforcing minimums right now is to create a few players on NOAT absolutely pissed because they can't get into the game and they don't have enough to create a proper second game. Unfortunate but true :(

Could just do 1-6 and 3-15, and 8-20, which is essentially fair.

There are hardly enough players online at a given time for 1 game. Planning around multiple games is pointless at this point
and besides that, whenever there have been secondary games online besides the main game always a bunch of fertz/matic/other-random-eccentric-voob types trying to solo bomb each other for hours on end because they're too bad to actually handle playing in the main game

plus He3 regen should be removed because it's just another thing that promotes prolonging games for the possibility of some horrid comeback after 2 hours of epic boredom
if you don't have anything or anywhere to mine except scraping your home rocks again you should just lose

You want this discussed, move it somewhere more people will discuss it.

And please moderate closely so it doesn't get off topic.

*huhu*

Keep the frigging OUT of 9 as it is, or better, raise/put (one) to 12.

True, you know to invest, and your exploration of technology is hardly stuck to new cores; perhaps you know now what am talking about . . . just let the newbies who are far from being addicted (because of playerbase below average, and perhaps other games) have their $#@! of a @#(!-fun with insane money - of course. You cannot commit that they only can play on the training version of cores with a special base granting 25k per minute, please.

Please, Stop Beginners Having Fun -- is that your motto, RoyBrown?

ps: pkk, kannst Du dem Trottel mal den Kopf waschen, bitte. Der spinnt doch total.
